Dha McLeod Morden, MB (June 25) It is interesting to compare the fastest lap records for the various classes that run at ALH Motor Speedway. Sometimes track conditions are just right to go very fast. That occurred on June 18, 2017 at the 3/10 mile oval.
In the 4 Cylinder class Ian Cabernel of Bruxelles established a new track record of 17.266 seconds to beat the old fast time of 17.639 held by Dean Miljure of Winnipeg. The speed Cabernel ran on that lap was 73 mph.
In WISSOTA Street Stock on that date Jesse Teunis of West St. Paul had a time of 16.128 which broke the old record of 16.273 held by Adam Burrows. That is a speed of 78.1 mph.
In WISSOTA Midwest Modified Cody Wall of Plum Coulee had a best time of 14.998 to beat Austin Hunter of Winnipeg who had a best of 15.205. Wall’s speed was 84 mph.
In WISSOTA Modified Scott Greer of Winnipeg set a best time of 14.029 to beat the previous best of 14.481 held by Ward Imrie of Winnipeg. Greer’s speed was 89.8 mph.
All the above best times were recorded on June 18, 2017.
Pat Smith of Boissevain holds the top Pure Stock time of 17.020 set on August 23, 2015. That is 74.031 mph.
Eric/Jerome Guyot of Fannystelle have the top Northern Super Truck time of 16.093 at 78.294 mph set on August 23, 2015.
In Lightning Sprint Alan Truscinski of Greenbush, MN set the the top time of 13.882 seconds at 90.765 mph on July 12 of 2017.
Official times for the Slingshots are unavailable but an unofficial timing of Keenan Glasser on June 25, 2017 had him running at just over 20 seconds for a lap.
